Originally from Dallas, Texas, I studied at Cistercian Preparatory School and recently completed my first year at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. My tutoring experience consists mainly of math and science; these subjects appear to come naturally for me. Some of the courses I have tutored include the following: Algebra I and II, Precalculus, and Calculus I and II. I have also helped students prepare for college entrance exams, such as the ACT and the SAT. My approach to tutoring includes making material more easily understood so students are better able to recall it when needed. I also focus on creating strong study skills and organization. I am fortunate enough to have learned from some exceptional educators, and I aspire to help and motivate my students in the same way. In my spare time, I enjoy a variety of sports, music, and participating in community service efforts.
